2 down 1 to go

It's back to school time! The kids and I have had mixed emotions about it. Max found out most of his friends from last year were going to be in the same class so he was really excited. Abby was denying the fact she would be attending kindergarten all summer. Luckily a few days before it started she thought if this "school thing" was something Max was excited about maybe it wouldn't be that bad. Thank goodness! Charlie on the other hand, was not too thrilled her two buddies were off on a great adventure without her. In a weird way, dealing with her helped me not cry as I sent my little boy and innocent little girl out to the wolves. Hey, being stuck at home with mom isn't that bad right? Well, maybe it is.

Oh! That picture of Charlie makes my heart hurt. I was the third child too, and my mom said I cried for a week straight after my older brother and sister went to school because I was so bored.

Man, you almost seem excited to get the kids out of the house. hahahaha. Just kidding. It is crazy to think that my little sister. "Lanny" as uncle Roger would call you. :) has 2 kids in school. Man how time flies. It was just yesterday that I got home off my mission and had to break up the running dates between you and Ryan while he was still a missionary.

Franchise...I'm interested in learning more!

Loved the pictures! It was fun to be there and get the "first day at school" report from Abby and Max. Charlie will help you stay busy!

Poor Charlie looks so devastated! At least you have one little buddy left at home.

Oh, Charlie. She has a backpack and looks so ready. In the first photo it looks like she thinks she is going and the next photo reality hits. Oh, the life of the youngest. But now she gets mommy to herself.

I'm sure you are loving your brother right now - you are so busted. I love these pictures and just want to squeeze Charlie.

To clarify the story...we met while Ryan was on a mission, we broke all the rules, made out all the time, I wore only a bikini around him, we ran together and laughed together. He finished his mission and went home and off to college. I started dating his brother. Todd and I were engaged but decided to call it off so he could go on his mission. Ryan and I were married shortly after.
The real story...I MET Ryan on the mission and we dated after he had been home for a while.
Franchise....you will pay for this....

Charlie, you look so cute helping Mommy make sauce out of all those big tomatoes. I'm going to have to try some when I come down to visit.
